OPTIMALISASI PERAN MANAJEMEN DALAM PRODUKSI PABRIK GULA ASEMBAGUS SITUBONDO

ABSTRACT
Indonesia is one of the largest agricultural countries in the world. This causes Indonesia to become a country that has a source of income from the agricultural sector. One of the growing sugar factories in Situbondo is the Asembagus Sugar Factory. This sugar factory has about 1,350 hectares of land planted with sugar cane. This study aims to 1) map the strengths of the management of the Asembagus Sugar Factory and 2) map the obstacles experienced by the management of the Asembagus Sugar Factory. The research method used is qualitative research with interview and observation data sources equipped with documentation studies. The result of thisresearch isthat in the implementation of its production, PG Asembagus Situbondo has fulfilled all the indicators in George R. Terry's theory. However, there are two points that have not been met, namely: 1) Employee competence and
