ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHATANI TEBU BERDASARKAN TINGKAT PENERAPAN GAP (Good Agriculture Practice) BUDIDAYA TEBU (Saccharum of icinarum Linn) DI KABUPATEN BANTUL DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

The implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) is a strategic
effort to increase the productivity and sustainability of sugarcane farming. This
study aims to analyze the feasibility of sugarcane farming based on the level of
GAP implementation in Bantul Regency and to examine the relationship between
GAP implementation and farm feasibility. The research method used surveys and
interviews with sugarcane farmers. Economic feasibility analysis was conducted
using the Revenue-Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio) and Break-Even Point (BEP). The
relationship between the level of GAP implementation and feasibility indicators
was tested using Spearman correlation analysis.
The results indicate that sugarcane farming in Bantul Regency is
economically feasible with an R/C Ratio > 1. Spearman correlation analysis
indicates a moderate positive relationship between GAP implementation and farm
feasibility, meaning that the higher the level of GAP implementation, the greater
the opportunity for achieving efficiency and profitability. These findings
emphasize the importance of GAP implementation as a strategy to increase the
productivity and sustainability of sugarcane farming and provide a basis for
developing policies and farmer development programs in the region.
